Lebanon Aid Project

The latest events in Lebanon have drawn the attention of every Lebanese. The ADF realizes the volatility of the situation, especially the impending economic depression. We are currently in the process of executing a massive aid plan to help alleviate some of the burden that has already started to impact people. Community involvement will be crucial to ensure success. 

We have identified non-profit groups in Lebanon to partner with:

• The Safety Net Foundation (an NGO-registered in the US and Lebanon)
• A representative from the Mashaiekh, the Majlis Al-Mathhabi (to ensure duty free clearance of goods), 
• The Farah Social Foundation (established aid distribution centers)
• The Ain-Wazein Foundation (a licensed facility to receive, store and distribute medicine to other hospitals and clinics)

The plan also involves establishing about 10-15 food banks and distribution centers in the Maten, Alley, Shouf, Hasbaya and Rashaya regions.

The ADF plans to raise $500,000. For each $100,000 raised, the ADF will contribute $25,000.

Once the goal of $500,000 is met, the ADF would have contributed an additional $125,000 reaching a total of $650,000.

Call for volunteers

Given the magnitude of this project, we plan to recruit between 100-150 volunteers to turn this endeavor into a success.
